The Anytime Adviser ID Theft Coach is a free service offered by Coosa Pines FCU.  The Coach guides users in safeguarding personal and financial records against fraud and identity theft, spotting phishing emails, ordering free credit reports, and much more.  Victims of ID Theft are coached through steps for reporting and recovering from the crime.  Resources are provided to guard against, recover from, and prevent further ID theft and credit fraud. 

 

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has a website on Identity Theft.  The FTC site offers consumers the information and tools to protect and defend themselves against ID theft, and offers ID theft victims the resources to recover after the crime. 

 

Identity Theft Resource Center®
