As a Co-Op Shared Branch Network member, Coosa Pines FCU provides our credit union members  access to over 5,000* branches across the United States. This extensive network ensures that you can easily manage your Coosa Pines FCU  accounts no matter where you are. 

Transactions

THE FOLLOWING TRANSACTIONS  MAY BE COMPLETED AT A  CO-OP LOCATION: 

  • Deposits  
  • Withdrawals  
  • Transfers  
  • Loan payments 
  • Balance inquiries 

THE FOLLOWING TRANSACTIONS MAY NOT  BE COMPLETED AT A  CO-OP LOCATION: 

  • Open a Coosa Pines FCU account. 
  • Close a Coosa Pines FCU account. 
  • Obtain a transaction history on a Coosa Pines FCU account. 
  • Cash third-party checks. 
Co-Op Shared Branches Identification Policy

When  visiting a  Shared Branch,  CPFCU  members  must present a valid, non-expired government-issued ID and their CPFCU member/account number.  

ACCEPTABLE IDS INCLUDE: 

  • State-issued Driver's License 
  • State-issued Non-Driver's License or ID 
  • Military ID 
  • Passport 

THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR IDENTIFICATION: 

  • Expired Temporary Driver's License 
  • Expired Driver's License 
  • Company/ Employer Picture ID 
  • School ID 
When Visiting a Co-Op Shared Branch
  • You will be asked to complete a deposit/withdrawal slip, 
  • Provide your Coosa Pines FCU member number, 
  • Provide a valid (non-expired) government-issued identification card, 
  • Verify and sign a completed receipt,  
  • And place a right thumbprint on a check over $50.00 to be deposited or cashed. 
Co-Op Shared Branch Check Policy

Coosa Pines FCU  has allowed funds from certain checks deposited at a  Co-Op Shared Branch  to be immediately available for withdrawal.  However, there are instances where a hold may be placed on funds deposited by check at a  Shared Branch. In some cases, funds may not be available for withdrawal until the fifth business day after the day of deposit, depending on the type of check that is deposited. However, the first $200 of the deposit will  always  be available on the first business day after the day of the transaction.  

If you believe the funds should be released immediately, please contact a Coosa Pines representative to review the deposit. The CPFCU employee may release the hold immediately if it meets normal requirements.  

FUNDS FROM THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF CHECKS WILL LIKELY BE PLACED ON HOLD: 

  • Local Checks – If the account balance does not exceed the check amount 
  • Non-local Checks 
  • Unfamiliar Business or Payroll Checks 
  • Insurance Drafts 
  • Counter or Starter Checks 
  • Cashier Checks or Official Checks 
  • Money Orders 

NOTE:  Longer check holds may apply when you visit a Co-Op Shared Branch. If you need the funds from a deposit right away or have any questions regarding your account, you should contact any Coosa Pines FCU branch to speak with a Member Service Representative regarding your transaction. Please remember that Co-Op Shared Branch  locations employees cannot release a Coosa Pines FCU deposit hold or answer questions regarding your account that are not specifically related to your transaction or current balance(s). Transactions performed at Shared Branch locations are subject to the Co-Op Shared Branch Network's fees, rules, policies, and procedures.
